APV MS4/MSP4 Membrane Valves

These valves are designed for aseptic processing systems, for example cold aseptic filling systems in the food & beverage industries, product handling downstream to UHT plants in the dairy industry or for pharmaceutical applications.

Brief characteristics

  • Type: sanitary, membrane, with pneumatic drive
  • Types: shut-off (overlapping), regulating flow, outlet pipes of the tank
  • Dimensions: ISO 1" - 4" external. Ø pipes, DIN DN25-100
  • Connecting parts: Butt welding end (S), clips ISO-Clamp / Tri-Clamp (CL)
  • Surface treatment: internal polishing to Ra < 0.8 µl

Operation

The opening and closing of the valve performed either by a pneumatic actuator or manually by means of a crank. During opening and closing, the diaphragm is continuously supported by a unique fan support system, which relieves process pressure on the diaphragm, thus protecting it against overstress and/or pressure spikes. This system significantly increases diaphragm reliability and lifetime.
